Privacy Policy

LifeX is a meditation app. This policy explains what we collect when you create an account and use the app, who processes it, and your rights — including under California law.
In short. We collect what you give us to run your account — your email, the profile details you add, and your meditation activity. We don't sell your data or use advertising cookies. You can delete your account and data any time by emailing hello@commonwealth.la.
01Who we are
LifeX is operated by Commonwealth Cultural Consulting (Studio City, Los Angeles, California). We are the controller of your personal information. Contact: hello@commonwealth.la.
02What we collect

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 — you confirm you are 16 or older when you sign up.
03Cookies & local storage
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do store a sign-in session token in your browser's local storage so you stay logged in — this is strictly necessary for the app to work. You can clear it by signing out or clearing your browser storage.
04Who processes your data
- Supabase — our database, authentication, and file storage provider. Your account, profile, uploads, and activity are stored on Supabase infrastructure on our behalf.
- Vercel — hosts the LifeX website.
- Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google," which shares your Google account email with us to authenticate you.
These providers process data only to operate LifeX. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
05How long we keep it & deletion
We keep your account and data until you delete your account or ask us to remove it. To delete everything, email hello@commonwealth.la from your account email, or use any in-app delete option, and we'll remove your account, profile, uploads, and activity.
06Your California rights
If you're a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information. To make a request, email hello@commonwealth.la with "Privacy request" in the subject.
07Security
We rely on reputable providers and reasonable safeguards. Passwords are hashed by our auth provider and connections are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
08Changes & contact
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and note it in the app. Questions or requests: hello@commonwealth.la.
